Documentation icon Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This is the documentation for the template used to describe the songs in the rhythm game, Girlfriend Note. It's a easier way to make new pages for songs, since most information is pretty much the same except for certain fields. Questions about how to use this template, or any suggestions should be directed to User:Erina.

For information on the the songs, try this site. Although it's in Japanese, it shouldn't be too hard to navigate. They also have a list of the girl's information in Japanese, which you could probably use Google Translate to understand.

The following is the list of parameters to be filled when using this template. I'll use Rhythm:Tanoshiki Tokimeki's page as an example of what to put in the parameters.

Basic Information

 • {ImageName}: The name of the image file to be displayed. The image should be the in-game jacket art for the song, at 448x448px resolution. The naming conventions should be the same name as extracted from the game. If you're unsure of what to do for images, leave it blank and let User:Erina upload the images first. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Music j 001.jpg".
 • {SongName}: The title of the song. Leave it as a romanization. Obvious English words can be translated. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Tanoshiki Tokimeki".
 • {SongNameJP}: The official Japanese title of the song. Leave it in Japanese text. If the song's title is originally in English, put the English here, the template will reformat it accordingly (you don't have to worry about anything!). For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "楽しきトキメキ".
 • {AlternateTitles}: Other titles for the song. Most songs won't have an alternate title, so leave the tag out of the template if so.
 • {EnglishTitle}: English title for the song. Feel free to submit your own. If this tag is not present, nothing will be displayed on the main page.
 • {Category}: The category of the song. Category refers to Side-A, Side-B, and Special. If a song has difficulties that belong in different categories, make sure to specify which belong where, generally int he format of Category (Difficulty1/Difficulty2/Difficulty3). For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Side-A (Easy/Normal/Hard), Side-B (Expert)".
 • {Color}: The color of the song. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Green".
 • {Date}: The first date that the song appeared in game. If not specified, the default text will say "Prior to January 2016". For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, we can leave it out, but this is necessary for all songs released after the initial release of the game.
 • {Album}: The name of the album where the full version of the song can be found. Please keep links consistent (meaning songs from the same album should have the same album name here).
 • {Lyrics}: The name of the person or group who wrote the lyrics for the song. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Shinya Yutaka".
 • {LyricsJP}: The name of the person or group who wrote the lyrics for the song, in Japanese. If the original name is in English, then enter the English into this field again. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "新屋豊".
 • {Composition}: The name of the person or group who composed the song. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Shinya Yutaka".
 • {CompositionJP}: The name of the person or group who comopsed the song, in Japanese. If the original name is in English, then enter the English into this field again. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "新屋豊".
 • {Arrangement}: The name of the person or group who arranged the song. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Shinya Yutaka".
 • {ArrangementJP}: The name of the person or group who arranged for the song, in Japanese. If the original name is in English, then enter the English into this field again. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "新屋豊".
 • {Vocals}: The group or girl that sang the song. If the song is sung by a group, include the group name as well as who the group contains (with wiki links to the group name and girls). If the song is sung by girl(s) not part of a group, put the girl's name and their CV (voice actress). For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Neuron Cream Soft, composed of Momoko Asahina, Kurumi Eto, Haruka Kazemachi, Nagiko Kurokawa, and Sumire Yomogida". For a song like Rhythm:Sewing My Mode, the parameter would be "[Koruri Tokitani]] (CV: Tamura Yukari)"
 • {VocalsJP}: The group or girl that sang the song, in Japanese text. Follow the same conventions as above, except no linking is required. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "にゅーろんくりぃむそふと: 朝比奈桃子/江藤くるみ/風町陽歌/黒川凪子/蓬田菫". For a song like Rhythm:Sewing My Mode, the parameter would be "時谷小瑠璃(CV:田村ゆかり)".
 • {AdvantageCenterGirl}: The list of center girls who give a 10% clothing bonus for the song. Add wiki linksk to each girl. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "Chloe Lemaire, Momoko Asahina, Haruka Kazemachi".
 • {AdvantageCenterGirlJP}: The list of center girls who give a 10% clothing bonus for the song, with their names in Japanese. Put their names in the same order as you did for the English listing above. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, the parameter would be "クロエ・ルメール、朝比奈桃子、風町陽歌".
 • {Unlock}: The criteria needed to unlock the song. Since Tanoshiki Tokimeki is always available, this field would be "Immediately available for play"
 • {EasyAvailability}, {NormalAvailability}, {HardAvailability}, {ExpertAvailability}: The availability of the difficulties. Categorize each difficulty, and in parenthesis, show how you unlock each one. For example, if a song's Easy, Normal, and Hard are all unlocked at level 12, say "Side-A (available after reaching level 12)" for all three. If the expert is on a Side-B rotation schedule, put "Side-B (check Side-B Rotation Schedule).
 • {AudioURL}: The link to the MP3 file of the song. For the time being, DO NOT FILL THIS FIELD. Leave this field to User:Erina.
 • {ExtraCategories}: The categories that this page belongs to on the wiki. All pages using this template are immediately added to the Songs category. Make sure to add the song to the Side-A, Side-B, Special, or Limited category if it belongs in one of those. Note that if a song has its 3 primary difficulties in Side-A and only one other difficulty in Side-B, put the song ONLY in Side-A, and DO NOT add a category for Side-B. This is to reduce unneccessary repetition. For Tanoshiki Tokimeki, this field should contain "".

Difficulty Rewards

Filling in the rewards should be quite self-explanatory.

 • {EasyStars}, {NormalStars}, {HardStars}, {ExpertStars}: The star difficulty rating of the respective song.
 • {EasyStamina}: The stamina required to play the Easy difficulty. As of now, this value is always "5".
 • {EasyExperience}: The experience given after clearing the Easy difficulty. As of now, this value is always "13".
 • {EasyFuruFuru}: The amount of luck stones given after Furu Furu clearing a song. As of now, this value is always "10".
 • {EasySSScore}, {EasySScore}, {EasyAScore}, {EasyBScore}, {EasyCScore}: The score needed to get to a specific tier for the rewards, as indicated in each parameter title. EasySSScore is the score needed to make an SCORE SS on the song, EasySScore for SCORE S, and so on. Leave scores as numbers properly formatted with commas. For example, enter "24,234" instead of "24234" for readability.
 • {EasySCombo}, {EasyACombo}, {EasyBCombo}, {EasyCCombo}: The combo needed to get to a specific tier for the rewards, as indicated in each parameter title. EasySCombo is the combo needed to make an COMBO S on the song, EasyACombo for COMBO A, and so on.

The same parameters above exist for other difficulties too. Just replace the "Easy" in the above parameters with the new difficulty title (either "Normal", "Hard", or "Expert").

These are currently the only parameters that exist for difficulty rewards, since everything else appears to remain constant. If any changes are needed, parameters will be added here.

Lyrics

 • {JapaneseLyrics}: The lyrics for the song in Japanese.
 • {RomajiLyrics}: The lyrics for the song in romanized Japanese. If there are none that currently exist, enter "Currently looking for romanizers, contact User:Erina if you'd like to help!" into the field.
 • {EnglishLyrics}: The lyrics for the song translated into English. If there does not exist a translation, enter "Currently looking for translators, contact User:Erina if you'd like to help!" into the field.

Additional Parameters

 • {Extra}: Extra information regarding availability for the song, will go below the bullet points in "Basic Information" formatted the way you have it. Useful for limited-edition songs.
 • {Trivia}: Extra, special information about the song. Hence, trivia. If included, a separate subsection called trivia will be included after the song audio. Feel free to put whatever extra, miscellaneous information you have about the song here. Although the trivia section is currently located after the song audio, it could also be placed after the song lyrics. Please message User:Erina if you have any suggestions.

And those are all the fields for the template! Below is what the code for Tanoshiki Tokimeki's page looks like:

Difficulties

Below, we show the stamina requirements for each difficulty, as well as the exp gained.

For each difficulty, the requirements to achieve ranks and receive rank rewards for Score, Combo, Mirror Bonus, and Amount of Clears are shown below. When you achieve a certain rank for the first time, you receive the reward for that rank as well as any ranks below it that you have not previously received. For example, if you get a A for score on your first play of a song, you would get the score rewards for SCORE C, SCORE B, and SCORE A. All rewards can only obtained once.

Note that "gull" is the form of currency in the game (ガル). Friend points can be used on the friend gacha to obtain mostly N rarity cards, with a few R cards available.

50 Luck Stones is given after clearing the Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty of a song for the first time. 50 Luck Stones are also given for clearing the Expert difficulty of a song for the first time.

Help

For help about the information on the page, try looking at the Walkthrough Project or the rhythm game mechanics pages, such as Rhythm:Play.

Regarding Difficulty Availability: A song's difficulty is considered "Limited" if it has appeared in the game for play at some point, but has since then disappeared. A song's difficulty is considered "Unreleased" if it has never yet appeared in the game in any form. Side-A are the songs that you can always play, Side-B are songs that you can only play on a rotating basis, and Special are songs under the "special" category that are usually unlocked by completing missions.

Total high score refers to the total score of all the highest scores you have obtained on all songs. This is essentially the sum of all high scores on each song you have played in the game. Note that for a song, it will only take your highest score from all four difficulties. For example, if you played a song on Easy with score 30,000, then played it on Hard with score: 150,000, then the only score counted for your total high score would be the 150,000.

The color of a song is the song's attribute. Teams that are composed of more members of the song's color (meaning, having a higher performance stat of the song's color) will perform better score-wise.

An "advantage center girl" is a center girl that provides a 10% clothing stat bonus for the song.

Note that "gull" is the form of currency in the game (ガル). Friend points can be used on the friend gacha to obtain mostly N rarity cards, with a few R cards available. Trainers can be used to increase the skill level of your girl, which allows them to improve their unique skills during gameplay (such as stamina recovery, score boost, and more).

Expert songs are never available in Side-A (normal play), these difficulties can only be found in Side-B (daily/weekly rotation), unless it's a special/limited edition song. Visit Rhythm:Side-B Songs for more information.
