In late April 2015, Famitsu announced a new Girlfriend Beta product created by Bandai Namco for the Playstation Vita, titled "Girl Friend BETA: Kimi to Sogosu Natsu Yasumi" (ガールフレンド(仮)きみと過ごす夏休み), which translates to Girlfriend BETA: Summer Vacation Spent with You. Story and Mechanics
The game features an original story which takes place at Seiou Academy, the high school that all the girls attend. The protagonist will be able to visit various locations in order to participate in club activities, talk with some of the girls, and lots more. Throughout this summer vacation, you'll be able to meet the eight girls in the game and deepen your relationship with them, all while enjoying various original events such as the standard summer festival!
Get ready for beach scenes, yukata scenes, and more.

Currently, there are eight girls confirmed to be in the game. This appears to be the total cast.

Merchandise
The first edition of the game will include two cards with a serial code for a yukata for the characters Kokomi Shina and Fumio Murakami in the original smartphone game. The game will cost 6,640 yen (approximately US$56).
The special limited edition "Natsu no Madonna Hitorijime BOX" (Summer's Madonna Monopoly BOX) will include:
- An illustrated box by QP:flapper
- Eight visual posters
- A Blu-ray Disc with original bonus footage
- Eight different covers for the PS Vita box each featuring a different girl
- A special booklet
- A product code for a custom PS Vita theme
- Eight cards with original illustrations and serial codes to use in the origianl smartphone game
- The PS Vita game itself.
The limited edition will sell for 9,980 yen (approximately US$84).
