Welcome to my userpage! I'm the founder and a current admin on the Girlfriend Kari Wiki. I also have access to the server, setup, and admin stuff, and I've been working on a separate English database for the girls and cards in the game. I've been playing Girlfriend Kari for like, almost 3 years now, and I don't plan to quit this heavily unfair pay-to-win RNG-esus mobile game anytime soon, even though I am starting to play it less. My favorite girl is Ichigo, though Koruri and Momoko aren't too far behind.

If you're here for the registration password, it's the first name of my favorite girl (you can find her name above). Her name starts with an "I."

Role

My main role for this wiki appears to be doing server-side maintenence, development, and other computer science-related work. I also contribute whenever I have time, and I'm (trying) to finish up the walkthrough/tutorial section of the wiki. I also have another giant side-project related to Girlfriend Kari in the works - the Girlfriend Kari English Card Database. It'll be something similar to this, except it'll have the stats for the cards and more information about them and the girls as well. Of course, it'll also be in both English and Japanese, so more people can access it.

I am currently creating the database using PHP/Laravel/MySQL paired with Angular.JS for the front-end, to make it both responsive and smooth. At one point, I considered switching to the MEAN stack instead, but decided that relationship mapping in MongoDB would be too much of a pain (think one-to-many relationships between a girl and her hundreds of cards).

Sadly, I've been quite busy with university, so I haven't had that much time to work on both the wiki and the database. I'm still active, so feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. If you would like to contribute, go straight ahead! We could use any help we can get! Even if you don't have anything to contribute, feel free to make an account and lurk around, or just talk to people about Girlfriend Kari! After all, we're a community here!

Although I've been pretty much dead for the past few months, I'm still willing to help out anyone with questions. Feel free to contact me on the wiki twitter (mention or DM are both fine), or edit my Talk page, or send me a message on my GF Kari profile here: http://vcard.ameba.jp/profile?userId=4470844.

Special thanks to everyone who's contributed or helped out with the wiki - I couldn't have started this project without you guys! I started the wikia as kind of a joke (never expected this to actually catch on), but then the game got an anime and here we are now! Sure, it still seems like a wasteland, but at least we've made progress. I'll keep working on the walkthrough, but for now, I'd like help explaining the different event types and how they function. Once we have information on that, we can start making posts about every actual in-game event and their special rewards!

So, let's all have fun playing our glorious waifu simulator!

Known Bugs

Images sometimes seem to disappear after uploading them to the wiki, but rest assured - they are still there. Sometimes, it just takes a little extra time for the images to process. I'm trying to figure out what's causing the issue, but it's almost been a year since I've found the bug so...don't get your hopes up.

Feel free to report other bugs to me on my userpage talk section, and I'll try my best to fix it. Basically, contact me if something about the server is going haywire, and I'll see what I can manage to salvage~

GF Note

THE RHYTHM GAME IS FINALLY OUT! And it's pretty much a Love Live School Idol Festival clone. But hey, at least it's fun.

Now with two games we need to write about it, it's gonna be double the work! Too bad I never even finished writing the Walkthroughs for the first game...

There's so much work still left to be done...

Bug Fixes

As of 1/3/2016, the bug regarding disappearing images and thumbnails has not entirely been resolved. However, when the wiki says an image is missing, it's actually not - it's still there. I don't understand why this is still happening, but after a quick server restart, everything works perfectly fine...

As of 10/24/2015, the wiki has finally been upgraded to version 1.25.3. That took way longer than it should have.

A bug with thumbnails not processing is still happening. Luckily, the problem is auto-resolved by the system after waiting a couple of hours (or by forcing the server to do a restart). Obviously though, this is pretty bothersome, but I haven't found a way to fix it yet...
